On September 11, 2026, the World Union of Arab Bankers (WUAB) convened the Arab Banks Awards & Commendations of Excellence 2026 at The Peninsula Istanbul, bringing together distinguished banking and financial leaders from across the Arab region and Türkiye. This year’s ceremony carried particular significance as it coincided with the 20th anniversary of WUAB, marking two decades of professional engagement, institutional cooperation and recognition of excellence across the Arab banking sector.
