In the Human Resources profession, and specifically in the Arab banking and financial institutions arena, Miss Amal Waddan is a prominent figure, a reference and an influential personality. Starting from Jumhouria Bank, the institution she has been serving since 1998, and played a crucial role in developing its employees, to her country Libya where she is regarded as one of the leading experts in the Human Resourcing, to the Arab region where Miss Waddan holds the position of Head of the Human Resources Managers Group at the World Union of Arab Bankers (WUAB).
Over the past few years as of WUAB’s Head of the Human Resources Managers Group, Miss Waddan played an important role in strengthening the Human Resources profession in the Arab World as she worked hard with the World Union to organize seminars highlighting the latest updates, tactics and tools which helped participants gain valuable HR skills. Even during the Covid pandemic, her activity didn’t decrease, on the contrary she oversaw the importance of the Human Resources department in maintaining the continuity of business especially amid the lockdowns, so she organized several webinars in this regards.
